80G REGISTRATION IN INDIA
The Basic criteria to be kept in mind for registration are as guided below -
1] There should be no income generated from the business being carried .
2] Should be either charitable trust or registered society
3] Should maintain a book of accounts for receipt and expenses.
4] There should not be any use of assets or income other than charity purposes.
5] The organization should not be working for the benefit of only specified caste or religion etc.
80G Certificate
The benefit for the donor is that he gets exemption in taxes upto 50 % and he needs to collect receipt of the amount donated and the receipt include name , date , PAN details of the person.
The company and big mnc always donate large amounts of funds in the ngo and get exemption in taxes from the government bodies or state.There is a complete process for the registration under section 80G and is being guided below and organization can receive the certificate In order to get the certificate various things are needed to be taken care of by the organization and all essential documents required in documentation should be available before applying for it

A] APPLICATION FILLING
The process of registration begins from filling of application form to get the 80G certificate from the authorized department
B] SUBMISSION OF APPLICATION
The application form is submitted to the income tax commissioner of the jurisdiction area and he will do the other work related to inspection ,verification etc of the organization who has applied for it.
C] INSPECTION OF THE DOCUMENTS
The Income tax department has the right to do inspection of the application and might ask for more additional details and evidence to get the real picture before providing approval.
D] PROPER VERIFICATION AND SCRUTINIZATION
After doing proper scrutiny and verification of the ngo applied for the certificate , if all documents and information is upto rules and regulations,it is transferred to the approval authority.
E] APPROVAL
The approval for certificate registration is provided to the institution or organization by the commissioner of income tax as he is the final authority to provide the 80G registration certificate

2] Pan card copy of the non government organization
3] NOC of the property owner where office is being located
4] List of donors with details of their address and Pan number
5] Last 03 years IT returns and other books of accounts also required
6] List of board of trustees.
7] Last 03 years welfare work report and data
8] MOA or trust deed as well as original registration certificate
