WPC Stands for Wireless Planning and Coordination, which means that it gives platform to those who needs Wireless Network. It is a wing under Ministry of Communication and was created in the year 1952 by seeing the increasing demand for wireless network in the Society. It exercises the Statutory function of the of the Central Government and issues License to establish, maintain and operate wireless stations.
There are various sections in which WPC is divided and those are as follows:-

Standing Advisory Committee on Radio Frequency Allocation (SACFA)
SACFA gives suggestion or recommendation on various or major frequency allocation issues, Formulation of the Frequency allocation Plan, making recommendation on the various issues related to international telecom Union (ITU) to sort out problem referred to the committee by various wireless users and citing clearance of all wireless installations in the country etc.
There is Different fees involved in the granting License and for getting duplicate copy and License modification, and Royalty fees is also involved ( it depends on the year for which License is being granted).
